As a native of the Slate Belt, it has been a privilege to serve the students and families of the Pen Argyl Area School District as your School Social Worker since August 2024. I hold both a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree in Social Work and am a Licensed Social Worker in Pennsylvania.
I am also a proud City Year AmeriCorps alum, and my past social work roles have included opportunities in both rural and urban settings. I have experience providing home visitation services to young families at a nonprofit and offering truancy intervention and attendance support in a large public school district.
I am passionate about social work and deeply value its emphasis on listening first, then offering the support and encouragement others need to confidently make positive changes in their lives. As a school social worker, I am here to foster students’ overall well-being by connecting families to resources, advocating to overcome barriers to academic achievement, and serving as a bridge between home and school.
