Testing Information

 

SAT

College entrance exam covering the areas of Math, Reading, and Writing

 PSAT

Preparation exam for the SAT taken primarily by juniors. High enough scores can help a student obtain a National Merit Scholarship

ACT

College entrance exam covering the academic areas of English, Math, Reading, Scientific Reasoning, and an optional Writing test

 
 ASVAB

A multiple-aptitude exam that measures abilities and helps predict future academic and career success in the military. Typically taken Fall of Junior year.

AP Testing

Culmination exam for an Advanced Placement course offered at the high school that takes place each May
