My name is Kristen Ortwein and I teach in the Business Education Department at Pen Argyl Area High School. I started my teaching journey 8 years ago, as the Computer/Technology teacher at WGMS and took this opportunity when it opened up to switch things up a bit! I wasn't always a teacher right out of college, in fact, I had many years experience working in the business, administration and marketing fields, which makes this new position, a perfect fit. When I'm not teaching, I am hanging out with my husband Adam, my two kiddos, Brynlee & Paxton and our fur kids, Milo & Dexter. In our free time, we like to run some races, visit new places, and really do anything to keep ourselves occupied as we're social butterflies! My absolute favorite place to visit, as many of you may know, is Disneyworld! I am a huge Disney fan, and honestly I don't care how old you are, it's truly magical! So to wrap this up, I'll leave you with a Disney quote that seems fitting.... "If you can dream it, you can do it".
