Hi! My name is Hilary Richards and I’ve been a RN for over 15 years. I’m married and have one son who attends Penn State University. I have a B.S. in Business Management from East Stroudsburg University and I obtained my nursing diploma from St. Luke’s School of Nursing several years later. I’m currently working on an advanced degree from Slippery Rock University. I was employed in a local Labor & Delivery Unit for 9 years before becoming the school nurse at CIT and then, ultimately, Pen Argyl High School. I come from a long line of Slaters, as I hail from Bangor, however kelly green is growing on me tremendously.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing with our beloved golden retriever, Lucy, traveling, reading, hunting for bargains, and spending time with family and friends. I am a huge Philadelphia sports fan and love watching the Eagles, Phillies, 76’ers, and Flyers win! Penn State football also ranks right up there. I love being a nurse; Interacting with and caring for others brings me a great deal of joy.
Favorite Thing About PAAHS
My favorite thing about working at Pen Argyl High school is the students. I thoroughly enjoy this age group. Connecting with them while attending to their needs on a daily basis provides me with an enormous amount of fulfillment. I promise to care for your child the same as I would my own son.
