I was born and raised in Puerto Rico. I attended Montclair State University where I pursued a bachelor's degree in Psychology. Later, I obtained a teaching certificate from Wilson College. I am very passionate about teaching Spanish to the students at Pen Argyl. It is of great pride and satisfaction for me to watch the students evolve from knowing very little about Spanish to being able to have basic conversations with their peers.
My favorite hobbies are kayaking, hiking, Zumba dancing, biking, knitting/crocheting, singing, and reading. I love to spend time with my family and friends. My husband and I enjoy traveling as well. I have two children, my daughter Melissa who is a biology and special education teacher, and my son Danny who is in the Financial field.
My favorite quote is: “Don’t count the minutes, make the minutes count”.

Favorite Thing About Teaching At PAAHS
My favorite thing about teaching at Pen Argyl is the strong sense of community. The faculty and the staff go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. You can count on them to help with anything you need. The students are fantastic!
