Testing Information

  • AP Testing - culmination exam for an Advanced Placement course offered at the high school that takes place each May
  • PSAT - preparation exam for the SAT taken primarily by juniors. High enough scores can help a student obtain a National Merit Scholarship
  • SAT - college entrance exam covering the areas of Math, Reading, and Writing
  • ACT - college entrance exam covering the academic areas of English, Math, Reading, Scientific Reasoning, and an optional Writing test
  •  ASVAB - a multiple-aptitude exam that measures developed abilities and helps predict future academic and occupational success in the military. Typically taken Fall of Junior year
